Standard Fees

The fee for a 50 minute session is $170, and $190 for couples or family therapy. I reserve a limited number of spots for sliding scale payment options for those with financial barriers.

Insurance

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) licensed to practice in BC, Alberta and Ontario and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) licensed to practice in BC. I can also see clients anywhere in the world for “coaching“, however in this case you would not be able to be reimburse for the sessions through insurance. Check you extended health benefits to see if it covers counselling with a Registered Social Worker or Registered Clinical Counsellor. Other types of insurance I accept include:

  • Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP)
  • ICBC
  • First Nations Health Authority (FNHA)
  • Autism Funding Unit

How do I pay?

Payment is processed at the time of your session. I currently accept credit card. Most Extended Health Benefit (EHB) plans cover counselling from a Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please call your benefits provider (e.g. Great West Life) or check your online portal to confirm what coverage you have.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly request 48 hours notice for cancellation and rescheduling of appointments, otherwise, the full session fee will be charged. This applies to missed sessions also. Please understand that this policy is based on fairness to you, your therapist, and other clients needing appointments. There is a high demand for services and for certain times of day, and when you book a session, that time is reserved exclusively for you. We appreciate your understanding.
